Applications Installer is a great Tool that allows to equip your web site with popular web applications.

To view the list of available web applications, click Application Installer menu item on your space page. Application Installer page will open.

Note that almost all web applications require database, so make sure you have database option available in your hosting plan.

To install web application, just choose it from the list and click Install button. Install Web Application page will open.

Enter web application settings and click Install button.

FAQ

Q: Why is the Application Installer page empty even if <All Categories> option is selected (e.q. no any application to install is shown)?
A: Please ensure that a hosting space has the corresponding quotas enabled to install a particular application pack because Application Installer module checks the requirements for an each application pack available prior showing them. For example: DotNetNuke application pack is shown only when the hosting space has MSSQL Server 2005 and ASP.NET 2.0 quotas enabled. The same is applied to PHP, MySQL, Perl or CGI demanding apps.

Is there any documentation on how we can develop our own App Installers? There is some software out there that I would feel to be of great value in my Control Panel.

Please give some direction on this.
